Parsons Behle & Latimer attorney Alexandra Hodson has been chosen for The Rising Star Award by her alma mater, the University of Idaho College of Law. The university says the award is given for the outstanding contribution of an Idaho law graduate who graduated within the past seven years. The awardee is determined by a vote of the law faculty based on demonstrated excellence and exceptional promise shown in the areas of integrity, competence, service and leadership through work as a legal practitioner, service to the legal profession, service to the community, or service to business, state, or national interests. Hodson will be honored at the College of Law’s Alumni Holiday Party on Dec. 12.

Hodson says she is honored to receive this award and to have the opportunity to continue serving her community through her work at Parsons Behle and as an adjunct professor for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at the College of Law, where she lectures on intellectual property law and prosecutes trademark applications on behalf of the program's small business clients.

Hodson graduated magna cum laude and was on the Dean’s List all applicable semesters during her law school years. She also served as the Chief Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review while at the university.

Since her graduation, Hodson has accumulated numerous honors and recognitions, as well as undertaken various positions of legal service, including:
