Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) is pleased to announce that Parsons’ shareholders have elected two new members to its board of directors who, alongside fellow board members, will lead the firm as it continues to grow throughout the Intermountain Region. Following in the footsteps of outgoing board members Brook B. Bond and Bruce R. White are newly-elected board members Jason S. Nichols and Adam D. Ott.
Prior to the election, Nichols served as practice chairperson for Parsons’ real estate practice. He says, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the firm’s board of directors. I have seen firsthand the quality and experience of our attorneys and the value we deliver to clients. Parsons is an exceptional firm, and I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to support its continued growth and long-term success.” Nichols will now serve on the board as director and vice president.
Ott served as the vice chairperson of Parsons’ corporate, securities and tax practices prior to the election and will now serve as director, vice president and secretary of the board. He says, “I’m humbled and honored that my fellow shareholders have entrusted me with the opportunity to serve on the firm’s Board of Directors. Parsons has provided me with an exceptional platform and environment to build a dynamic and fulfilling legal career, and I’m excited to pay it forward by contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success in any way I can.”
Current board members Liz M. Mellem, Jon A. Stenquist, Richard J. Angell and Juliette P. White were reelected with Mellem, Stenquist and Angell serving as directors and vice presidents and White serving as director, vice president and treasurer. Shawn C. Ferrin will retain his position as Parsons’ CEO and chairperson and Cory D. Sinclair will continue to serve as president of the firm.
