At a May 1 Waters of the United States (WOTUS) listening session in Washington, D.C., Parsons Behle & Latimer attorney and Boise Office Managing Shareholder Norman M. Semanko spoke for the Family Farm Alliance. The May 1 session was part of an ongoing outreach effort by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Army Corps of Engineers to rework the Clean Water Act’s WOTUS definition to create alignment with the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2023 Sackett decision.

Semanko has served as general counsel of the Alliance since 2018. His comments were quoted in part in The Packer publication, issued by Farm Journal.
