Hannah Ector is an associate in Parsons Behle & Latimer’s litigation department. Her practice covers a wide array of areas, including employment litigation, real property, trust and estate litigation, and business and commercial litigation. Hannah strives to use her communication skills to achieve unique, effective solutions for her clients.

Biography

Hannah received her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2021, where she graduated with high honors. Hannah has experience assisting businesses and individuals with high-stakes litigation matters, including contract, employment and real property disputes. Hannah has experience in all stages of the litigation process, including trial and enjoys the opportunity to advocate for her clients, either on paper or in court.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors with her new baby, husband, and dog and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Experience

Four B Props., LLC v. Nature Conservancy, No. 25-8024, 2026 WL 1018353 (10th Cir. Apr. 15, 2026)

Successful defense of multi-million dollar claims for promissory estoppel at summary judgment and on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. The U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming held that that the record evidence failed to establish any of the elements of promissory estoppel and that the landowner plaintiff was not entitled to relief in equity. The Tenth Circuit affirmed on appeal, upholding the binding terms of the perpetual conservation easement limiting plaintiff’s use of his property.
