Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Kirsten Wallace served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Idaho and was the prosecuting attorney for 22 state licensure boards, including the Board of Pharmacy, the Board of Nursing, the Board of Dentistry, and various other professional and occupational licensing boards, giving her a depth of experience and knowledge in regulatory matters within the healthcare industry. Today, Kirsten represents providers in cases involving audits, investigations, and licensure or disciplinary matters.
Kirsten also counsels clients in business bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. She works with clients to address bankruptcy and creditor rights issues, including litigation in state and federal courts.
Additionally, Kirsten has a growing practice in real estate, including real estate litigation. She has held a real estate license since 2008, and is uniquely positioned to counsel real estate agents, buyers and sellers when they encounter issues with respect to the purchase and sale of real property.
Finally, she has experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and counsels clients regarding claims involving denied or terminated disability benefits, life insurance and health benefit claim denials, and ERISA pension and retirement plan disputes.
For more than 22 years, Kirsten served the District of Idaho as the career law clerk for three district of Idaho federal judges - United States Magistrate Judge Candy W. Dale; United States Magistrate Judge Mikel H. Williams; and United States Bankruptcy Judge Jim D. Pappas.
